① Standard barbell: it is composed of barbell bar (horizontal bar), barbell piece and clamp. International weightlifting competitions must use the international standard barbell recognized by the International Weightlifting Federation, including men's barbell and women's barbell. The difference is mainly on the barbell bar, and the barbell piece is the same standard. Men's barbell bar is 2.20 meters long and weighs 20 kg, while women's barbell bar is 2.15 meters long and weighs 15 kg. The diameter of the barbell bar is 0.028m, and the diameter of the largest barbell piece is 0.45M. The rubber outside can increase the beauty and reduce the noise of the barbell landing. The weight, color and model of barbell pieces are as follows: 25kg (large red), 20kg (large blue), 15kg (large yellow), 10kg (large green), 5kg (Medium White), 2.5kg (small red), 2kg (small blue), 1.5kg (small yellow), 1kg (small green) and 0.5kg (small white), All weight values of barbell pieces must be indicated with numbers on the outside. Each clamp weighs 2.5kg. The addition rule of barbell pieces is that the inside (first) is heavy and the outside (later) is light, that is, the heavy is added on the inside and the light is added on the outside. Because the weight of the clamp is 2.5kg, small barbell pieces below 2kg (including 2kg) must be added on the outside of the clamp, and only one small barbell piece can be added on each side.
② Non standard barbell: the structure is the same as the standard barbell. The size requirements are not strict, the production requirements are not high, the weight can be freely specified, and the stone shoulder used by the people can also be replaced. In addition, in order to meet some special requirements, if it is necessary to develop a local muscle, various forms of special barbells can be made as required (such as bending shaft barbell, bow barbell and ring carrying barbell, etc.).
